I don’t always feel like royalty as a stay-at-home Dad, so you could say the Cracker King has humble beginnings! But one thing that is never questioned, is my love for making my gluten-free hand-crafted artisan crackers, baked and packed by yours truly! As you can imagine, the Cracker King is a busy guy! Domestic responsibilities are seemingly never-ending, but to follow my passion, I somehow find the time to work magic in the kitchen, where I’m always King!

Healthy eating can help with the overall perception of one’s life. Foods rich in vitamins and minerals, such as fruits, whole grains, and vegetables, have been associated with an overall lower risk of depression. It may also decrease the risk of certain types of cancer and heart disease. Eating a healthy diet not only helps you live a longer life, but a happier one.
Gluten Free Diet
For many people following a Gluten Free Diet helps them live a healthier life. For a person with Celiac disease living without Gluten in their diet is life sustaining. If you are struggling with inflammatory diseases and autoimmune disorders, gluten free has proven to be beneficial. Some immediate symptoms of gluten intolerance include gas and bloating. People suffering from Crohn's disease and those with lupus are told to stay away from gluten because of the increased risk of inflammation in the joints as well as, rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. The advantages of gluten free include a reduction in some of these symptoms.

Gluten can be found in wheat, rye, barley, and many packaged foods. By avoiding some of these processed and not-so-nutritious foods, you’ll be able to replace them with yummy gluten-free options and opt for fresher ingredients.

It can also cause malnutrition and a lack of certain important vitamins that increase your energy levels. Anemia also causes people to feel tired, and in the case of Celiac disease, iron isn’t being absorbed and the lack of this important vitamin can also make you feel drained.

If you do suffer from Celiac disease, your small intestine isn’t absorbing the nutrients and those poor villi have been flattened. This makes digestion harder especially when ingesting gluten. You can reduce your upset tummies, cramping, gas, bloating, and diarrhea by getting off the gluten.
